Food Safety

Hela employs a thorough food security concept that is conducted seriously and attentively. This is our highest priority.

To ensure security as high as possible we are working in a team that includes product development, product management, quality security and information technology. It is our duty to ensure the production of secure and legal food under strict regulations.

Hela’s management and employees all want to reach and maintain the highest level of food safety.

Our management system includes the following standards:

- Food Safety Practices (FSP), describing hygiene requirements within prevention programmes.

- Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP).

- Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), describing production processes that are not relevant to food safety; every step in the process is monitored and measured.

- Critical Manufacturing Control Points (CMCP), surveying quality levels of production and service processes not relevant for food safety.

We have been issued these certifications.

For Hela, these certifications mark the commitment to high-level technology and high-quality products. Therefore, Hela documents maximum food safety for all products.
