Preparation time: 20 minutes
- 150 g flour
- 100 g sugar
- 120 g soft butter
- 1 egg
- 100 g ground almonds
- Hela Thyme
- 150 g chopped macadamia nuts
- 1 lemon (abrasion)
Glaze:
- 150 gr icing sugar
- 2 teaspoons lemon juice glaze
- Mix butter, sugar and almonds.
- Add flour and egg and mix well.
- Knead the chopped nuts, thyme and lemon zest under the dough.
- During this time the oven can be preheated to 180 degrees.
- Now small balls can be formed from the finished kneaded dough and distributed on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
- At the end the balls have to be pressed lightly.
- Let the lemon thyme biscuits bake for about 15 minutes and then let them cool on the baking tray.
- Now the icing can be mixed with icing sugar and lemon juice.
- Spread the icing over the biscuits with a piping bag.
