Thyme is one of the intensely spicy culinary herbs that are particularly popular in Mediterranean cuisine. The strong, spicy aroma of the essential oils in Hela Tymian refines lamb and poultry in particular, as well as vegetables, potatoes and sweet potatoes or mushrooms from the oven. Tymian also exudes a wonderful aroma in home-baked bread or baguette for the barbecue buffet. Or try our freeze-dried Tymian over fresh goat cheese and sweet honey salad. Besides using dry herbs, we recommend rehydrating in water or vegetable brew. This is how the unbelievable aroma bouquet unfolds particularly well. It is also recommended to add the thyme only at the end of the cooking process to preserve the aroma".
