Turmeric is an essential part of Indonesian and Indian cuisine. Besides the bitter aroma of the spice plant, Hela turmeric is especially known for giving curry dishes a wonderful golden yellow colour. As powder or processed to paste with coconut oil, turmeric is also suitable for the cult drink Golden Milk, turmeric smoothie, yellow fragrant rice, vegetarian vegetable dishes, Buddha bowls and exotic soups.
A little hint: Turmeric is not water-soluble, but can be easily processed e.g. in combination with oil.
