Sustainability as a continuous process
At Hela, we rely on targeted measures to fulfill our ecological responsibility. We are currently working on creating a carbon footprint by autumn 2024 in order to analyze our ecological footprint and reduce it in the long term. We have already made progress in production by optimizing the use of resources. Our packaging is also increasingly meeting the requirements of the PPWR, as the adjustments to buckets and bottles show. We are also examining alternative energy sources and continuously improving our use of resources in areas such as energy, raw materials and water.
Strategic expansion and standards
Sustainability is a central component of our corporate strategy. In addition to the systematic further development of sustainability management, we are working towards ISO14001 certification and the ZNU sustainability standard. Our supply chain is continuously evaluated and optimized according to ESG criteria to ensure the highest standards. Transparent communication of this progress is also an essential part of our work, as we want to actively and proactively contribute to sustainable development not only today, but also in the future.
